IMPORTANT IMPORTANT

E-MAIL DS RE:

Partner Program Page--links for more information does not work.  Links is to "AssociatesA" not Partner Program.

Join our Partner Program - Stand out from the crowd!

Thought we discussed this a few weeks ago -- and you even fixed it while we were talking.  I refreshed page, but still does not work.

That page also does not have current Navigation Drop Down Box.

Any other pages on which you want me to add new Navigation Drop Down Box????

Should I check which pages need it?  (other than ones I do?)

Text for now?  Image title later?

List changes needed.

Discuss with Diane:
  • FP Explorer shows SiteIndex.htm (6-16-99) and sitemap.htm (7-17-99).  What is one from 6-16-99?  Delete both?
  • On Navigation Drop-down box, put site map after Contact Us, above dotten line.  Below dotted line is for professionals.
  • Samples of Online Albums--

For now, I will just list the first page of each sample.  Later, if you think we should list all the pages of the sample albums, I'd like to discuss with you.
  •
  • I called first page "Sample of Home Page" and numbered pages after that starting with Page 1.  Okay?   (Site map had "Elegant," "Elegant1," "Elegant2," etc.).  (Note:  The rest had Page 2 as the second page)

See "manual" site map for what I did.

    OR

Just show first page of each style on Site Map?
  • Also Elegant is the only one that has a Page 1--on all others the second page is Page 2.

Suggest sometime in the future, redo title for each page, for online albums, as well as any others that need it.  (Diane, would you like me to do this?  If so, I will not do any pages with shopping cart or forms--any others?  It would be better for you to do on shopping cart and forms pages.  I'll list and give you my suggestion for titles--so you can just copy and paste.

Title sample for an online album page would be:

Shared Memories:  Online Album - Style Sample:  Elegant
Shared Memories:  Online Album - Style Sample:  Elegant - Page 2

Discuss in person:  Site Map seemed to have titles as the link--but I updated some to be in format I want and that did not show.??

  • OUR MISSION - ABOUT US
  • NAVIGATION DROP DOWN BOX (RE SITE MAP)--#1 PRORITY.
  • Home page
Problems with Site Map page:
Having Partner Program listed in position #2 doesn't make sense for site geared toward bride/groom.
Pages should be listed in similar order to those on Home Page (for logic purposes).
Having the following two listed is confusing--take you to two different doorway pages:
San Diego Wedding Professionals by Shared Memories
San Diego Wedding Resource Center by Shared Memories
Should be two words, both capitalized:
weddingtips
Who Pays for What?

Should be:

Tips Who Pays for What?

Engagement Brochure

Name is misleading--should be:

Engagement Web Site or

Engagement Web Site Brochure

Free Listing

Misleading--to bride and groom.  What kind of  Free Listing--free engagement listing?
Should be under a separate Professional Section:

Note:  All pages geared toward Pros should be under separate Professional Section.

Memories Guest Book

Are we using this again?  If not, should not be listed.  (It's not on home page.)

Pros should be in alpha order--they are not.  In totally random order.

Titles should be consistent--same as those on top of each page.  Some had Shared Memories and/or San Diego in them, in differnet formats.

From Mel: Conair Cordkeeper Hair Dryer--the travel one since probably lighter. Crystal Christmas tree--about 2-3 weeks ago saw two different sizes at the year-round Christmas store on Morena called City Lights.  Might be a good idea to call first to see if still have. Athletic Bag for stuff to take to gym/swimming.   Important to have a separate compartment for wet bathing suit. Sterling Silver lever back earrings--blue topaz or amethyst or any other pretty. Re Mike/Kim: Wire cutters--1st choice since as you know, I've misplaced my pair again.  Also lost pair I have is not very sharp.  Probably a good idea to get at a craft store. One-year subscription to Reader's Digest. Cachet spray cologne.
