"TUXEDO CAT"
Question: What
is a "Tuxedo Cat"?
Answer:
"Tuxedo Cat" is an informal title given to all felines, regardless of breed, who
have a black coat and white patches on the feet, lower legs and neck and sometimes on the
face. These cats are prepared for any formal occasion! (according to 365 Cats
Calendar, Workman Publishing.)
Princess is definitely
a"Tuxedo Cat" and I refer to Tessa as my "Gray Tuxedo Cat." Her
markings are just like that of Tuxedo Cat, except she's dark gray. After all tuxedoes that
men wear come in colors other than black, don't they?
When I adopted Princess and Tessa
at the El Cajon Animal Shelter, I was told that there mother was a Tuxedo Cat also, just
like the two of them. |
